Blood ties, chosen bonds: a queer family journey
Family is a poetic and relatable text performance in which theater maker Louis Janssens invites four intergenerational performers to join him on stage. They share stories, ask questions, and seek comfort as they explore how both blood and chosen family bonds shape our lives. Told from a queer perspective, the production examines parents, children, growing up, and the fear of being left behind, ultimately presenting a universal story about having and searching for a family.
