Hear Auggie’s world: fear, friendship, and courage
WONDER is an interactive audio installation about a boy with an extreme facial deformity whom no one sees as normal. Inspired by R.J. Palacio’s novel, it immerses you in the perspective of twelve-year-old August Pullman on his first day at a mainstream school, where he faces fear, stares, avoidance and bullying. Only Summer and Jack offer friendship as you hear voices of classmates and read their hurtful reactions.
