A New Chapter Unfolds
In 2022, the group underwent a transformation, replacing the piano with guitar and tenor sax. Guitarist Ben Monder, known for his collaborations with Maria Schneider, Paul Motian, and David Bowie, joined the ensemble. Saxophonist Chris Speed, with a rich history of playing alongside John Zorn, Craig Taborn, and Kurt Rosenwinkel, also came on board. This new quartet released their second album, 'Complex Emotions', in late 2024.
